Bernard F. Lovely (Bernie) graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 1983. Before law school he taught modern American literature at several colleges. He has practiced law for almost 40 years. He is currently with the law firm of Gess Mattingly & Atchison PSC. His primary field of law has been Business and Corporate with focus in Equine Law. He also is an experienced mediator and co-owns AZUR Restaurant, Lexington Diner and Dupree Catering. Most of his free time is spent coaching baseball and basketball for his 10 grandchildren.
