Volunteer for K3DE

Volunteers are truly the heart of the Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event! Fulfilling roles like Cross-Country Jump Judge, Road Crossing Safety and Grandstand Seating Usher, volunteers make the event run smoothly.

Each year as many as 2,500 people donate their time and energy to helping us produce the world’s finest equestrian event. Their loyalty is rewarded with “perks” like a commemorative hat, event shirt and various other goodies provided by the generosity of our sponsors. Special thanks go to Hilltop Bio, the sponsor of the Hilltop Bio Volunteer Lounge. Volunteers can stop at the Lounge to get information, take a break, and grab a snack.
