About Brack Marquette

Brack joined the EEI Board of Directors in 1989 and has served in various elected and volunteer roles since. A native of Williamstown in Northern Kentucky and graduate of Georgetown College and LSU, Marquette was asked, in addition to EEI, to serve on governing boards and in voluntary leadership positions in more than 40 local, state, and national civic and non-profit organizations in higher education, human services, history and historic preservation, literacy, economic development, government, and the arts.  An ardent advocate for EEI and the Bluegrass Region’s incomparable equine, agriculture, and cultural assets, he is the father of long-standing EEI volunteers Dr. Miles Marquette, DMD, and Brooks Marquette, American University Washington School of Law.
