About Charlotte Skinner

Charlotte currently resides in Los Angeles, California. She began riding professionally at the age of 18 and competed both nationally and internationally for 14 years. She has been deeply involved in the hunter/jumper aspect of equestrian sports in a professional capacity since 1976. Charlotte is an active licensed official, holding FEI Level 3 Jumper Judge and Level 1 Steward licenses, and licenses as a USEF ‘R’ Jumper Judge and a certified Jumper Schooling Supervisor. Charlotte was a senior member of the management team for the 1992 World Cup Finals, the 1998, 2000, and 2008 North American Young Rider Championships. In addition, she managed the Colorado Summer Circuit in Parker, CO, from 1993 through 2010. Sport governance is an important part of Charlotte’s professional life. She serves on various USEF and USHJA committees and is an elected member of the USHJA Board of Directors. Skinner has announced and judged at numerous major events including the 2010 World Equestrian Games, 2011 Pan-Am Games, 1993-2014 North American Junior and Young Rider Championships, the 2015 Pan-Am Games, and the Kentucky Three-Day Event since 1996.
