About Cristina Gonzalez

Cristina was born into a happy home in Columbia, South America. The second of 4 girls, she grew up riding and competing horses. Her first horse was a farm horse, a gift from her grandfather. She has competed in the Jumper ring up to 1.20 meters and has also competed in the Young Horse division with her 3 horses.


Currently Cristina focuses on officiating international competitions. She received her Jump Judge credential in 1990 and FEI Steward qualification in 1995. She has officiated at events around the globe, including the Olympics, World Equestrian Games, Pan Am games and many more.



Cristina is happily married for 47 years. She credits her husband for his support as she pursues her “madness that are horses.” Together they have two daughters and two grandsons.
