Eloise grew up in Charlotte, NC, riding saddlebreds. She attended college in Virginia and NC. Her love for horses brought her to KY for a "brief" stay, and she's still here after 45 years! She began a career in banking that lasted 40 years, having recently retired from Central Bank and Trust. She held numerous banking positions before moving into the Trust Dept. For many years she was the only female Personal Trust Officer in Lexington.



She is a former 3 Day event rider competing through Preliminary. She currently rides with the Iroquois Hunt Club and serves as a 2nd field master. She has been attending the KY 3 Day Event since 1978, first as a spectator, then a volunteer, then an EEI board member. She has been host to 2 Australian riders.

She currently serves as a board member on the KY Horse Park Foundation, Iroquois Hunt Club and Hopewell Presbyterian Church.
