About Erin Woodall

Erin is a native of Lexington, KY and graduated from the University of Kentucky with a BS in Agriculture Education. A lifelong equestrian, Erin started attending the Kentucky Three-Day event in the early 1990s and began volunteering in 1995 as a groom’s shuttle driver on cross-country day. In 2006 she was promoted to Groom Shuttle Chief Steward after the passing of her mother, who preceded her in the position.

An active member of the central Kentucky equine industry, Erin regularly serves as a volunteer or official at local competitions when she’s not competing. Erin served four years as President of the Kentucky Horse Council, in addition to multiple terms on both the Kentucky Horse Council and Midsouth Eventing and Dressage Association Boards.

Prior to joining EEI, Erin spent 17 years organizing competitions, conventions, and supporting the ten United States Pony Club disciplines. From 2015-2019, she organized the Midsouth Pony Club Horse Trial and Mega-Rallies at the Kentucky Horse Park.

Erin and her husband, Mike, have two cats, Little Dickey, and Forte, and one horse, Clarence. When not spending time at work or the barn, they enjoy traveling and seeking out new experiences.
