About Robin J. Cravens

Robin is a native of Kansas City, MO and graduated from the University of Kentucky. She worked in corporate America in the telecommunications industry before moving to Kentucky. She was based in Kansas City, MO and held the position of project manager/consultant for GTE/Spring, head sales estimator/sales project manager with Andres Corporation and construction scheduler with Burns & McDonnell Engineers/Architects.



Robin married Wayne Cravens, a Lexington, KY native, and she took time off to raise her husband’s two boys and worked in the promotional products industry. She purchased her first horse in 1993, which gave her a new passion and eventually took her career in a new direction. She had a small personal horse farm operation for several years and dabbled in thoroughbred breeding and sales.   She served as the chief administrative officer for Dapple Companies/Dapple Bloodstock and operations administrator for Mt. Brilliant farm.


Robin’s love for horse show event production led her to her current role as business manager for Split Rock Jumping Tour. Here they produce high performance FEI show jumping competitions across the US to include the Kentucky Invitational held in conjunction with the LRK3DE.


Robin works with the Lexington Dream Factory, Centenary Methodist Church and is a Consultant to the VP of the Masterson Equestrian Trust board. Her current hobby is regrouping from downsizing their forever home.
