West is a native of Charlotte, NC. He graduated from Georgetown College, where he was an Equine Scholar and member of the ISHA equestrian team, through which he volunteered annually at the Kentucky Three-Day Event and National Horse Show. 



West decided to follow in his father’s footsteps and obtain his real estate sales associate license. He is glad to be spending his time working to sell equine properties and further his involvement in the Central Kentucky equine industry and especially the Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event. 

West has a strong background in the equestrian world, having started competing in hunter jumpers when he was 11 years old. At 14 years old, he purchased his first horse, Leah, with whom he began show jumping. Leah is now retired at his parent’s 70-acre horse farm in Waxhaw, NC.
